Simple, it continues to be captured with the LAND CEMs Back-up system. This system keeps data downtime to a minimum - and ensures that any possible restrictions on data availability as part of an operating permit are met.
The CEMs Back-up system can operate for minutes, hours or days, until the CEMs is back on-line.

LAND CEMs Backup System
The system is a compact unit, which has permanent connection into the sample system of the CEM. The switchover from the CEM to the Back-up system only takes a matter of minutes. Switchover is a simple manual operation, with automatic indication to the data recording system.
Where a LAND Data Acquisition System (DAS) is being used, it will automatically acknowledge the switchover and continue with seamless data logging, the change in source of data being captured in the event log.
