In order to comply with today's demands of European led legislation of traceability in all
aspects of Quality Assurance, LAND have recognised the need to
provide a quality backup service as well as quality products.
First Approval for the UK
As a result of our commitment to quality, in 1989 our UK office obtained BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management
System approval for the design and manufacture of our range of products. This approval was further extended to
cover in-house repair and site servicing.
Software development and products were added to the scope of approvals in 1996.

USA Gains ISO 9001 Approval
In 2002 our USA office obtained ISO 9001:2000 approval for sales, engineering support, repair, calibration and
certification services.
