THEORY PRODUCT AND APPLICATIONS
These topics are covered by two courses:
Level 1
This trainging course is suitable for newcomers to the field of temperature measurement by infrared. The course covers infrared theory, fixed, on-line and portable thermometer products and applications.
The course enables the delegates to understand the theory of non contact temprature measurement in an interesting and uncomplicated way. Configuration and operation of fixed and portable products is demonstrated.
Much emphasis is placed on determining which product provides the best temperature measurement in a given industrial application and why.
The reasons for selecting a particular thermometer to make a particular measurement are covered in depth.
The course has been structured specifically those who support or promote LAND products. However, these courses can be tailored to the needs of end users.

Level 2
This is most suitable to those who have already attended a Level 1 training course and would like to increase their knowledge of thermal imaging and infrared linescanning systems . The course covers the operation and configuration of fixed, on-line and portable thermal imagers and image processing software. The types of linescanner head, processors, and other system elements available as well as operation and configuration of linescanning software are covered in detail.
There are a number of practical sessions throughout the course which will give the delegate the opportunity to operate products and software.
The course has been structured specifically for those who support or promote LAND products. However, these courses can be tailored to the needs of end users.

PORTABLE THERMAL IMAGER TRAINING
For users of LAND portable thermal imagers, training in the latest products is available. The course covers basic principles of infrared theory, operation of the thermal imaging camera and use of system software for storage and processing of thermal images.

SERVICE REPAIR AND CALIBRATION
For customers and distributors of LAND infrared temperature measurement products who have their own repair and re-calibration facilities, training in the servicing and repair of LAND's products is available. These courses are practical and provide training on as much of the product range as is necessary.
CALIBRATION
All LAND products are calibrated to internationally recognised standards during manufacture. LAND also supply a full range of temperature calibration sources which are used to verify or re-establish the calibration accuracy of products in the field. Training in the recalibration of LAND's range of products by customers who have their own calibration facility is available.
These courses are practical and provide training on as much of the product range as is necessary.
