AMETEK Land reveals in its latest engineering brief how manufacturers can use effective calibration and certification accreditation to gain a competitive advantage.
The engineering brief outlines how temperature measurement accuracy is becoming increasingly important in industries, such as automotive, aerospace and medical, and how the use of correctly calibrated, high-accuracy temperature measurement instruments enables tighter manufacturing tolerances, enhanced product quality and ultimately lower production costs.
It also looks at how accredited certification helps to reinforce customer confidence in instrument performance and how companies can distance themselves from their competition and put themselves in a better position to win contracts by implementing proven procedures that are backed by certified and calibrated instrumentation.

Land’s certification service verifies the performance accuracy of an instrument at a given point in time by quantifying its errors, allowing those errors to be applied as compensation to improve practical measurement uncertainty.
