UBA Germany and MCerts UK

All emissions measurement systems used to demonstrate compliance with European legislation such as the Industrial Emissions Directive (2010/75/EU) must meet the quality assurance standards of EN 14181. The first quality assurance level (QAL1) requires that the equipment be tested for suitability by an independent laboratory and approved by a relevant body. All Land compliance monitors have been tested to EN 15267 by the respected TÜV Rheinland laboratory.

In Germany, the relevant body is the approvals committee of the Federal Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt - UBA/LAI). All approved equipment is listed on website here.

The United Kingdom MCERTS is scheme is operated on behalf of the UK Environment Agency by SIRA. All approved equipment is listed on their website here.

Most other countries within the European Union accept certificates issued by either UBA/LAI or MCERTS.
