Calibration Sources

A comprehensive range of six LANDCAL blackbody calibration sources provides high precision calibration of radiation thermometers within the temperature range -10 to 1600°C/15 to 2900°F, both on-site and under laboratory conditions.

The sources are divided into two main groups, classified as being either primary or reference standard. The primary and reference standard sources are further divided into Portable,Transportable or Bench mounted groups.

Primary Standard Sources: The calibration of a primary source is traceable directly to National Standards via a certified probe installed in the radiation cavity.

Reference Standard Sources': Traceability to National Standards can be achieved either by using optional certified radiation thermometers for calibration by the comparison method, or by purchasing a certified source with a UKAS certificate.

Landcal P550P - Low Temperature Portable

Portable Primary source - up to 550 °C/ 1020 °F

LANDCAL P550P is a portable, variable temperature, blackbody radiation source. It is a primary standard designed for high precision calibration of low temperature radiation thermometers.

Landcal P80P - Low Temperature Portable

Portable Primary source - up to 80 °C/ 175 °F

LANDCAL P80P is a portable, variable temperature, blackbody radiation source. It is a primary standard designed for high precision calibration of low temperature radiation thermometers with sub-zero measurement capability.

Landcal R1200P - High Temperature Portable

Portable Reference Source - 350 to 1150 °C/650 to 2000 °F

LANDCAL R1200P is a high stability portable, blackbody reference standard source. R1200P can be used for both on-site or laboratory calibration of a range of short wavelength thermometers, such as System 4 and Fibroptic radiation thermometers.

High Temp. Transportable blackbody reference source

LANDCAL R1500T is a high temperature, transportable blackbody radiation source designed for calibration of a range of thermometers such as System 4 and Fibroptic thermometers. R1500T is a reference standard source giving a resolution of ±1 °C/2 °F.
